Arrival in Tel Aviv

Upon arrival at the Tel Aviv Airport, meet our tour representative. He helps you with an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities. Stay overnight.

Tel Aviv – Excursion to Valley of Elah – Latrun – Jaffa

After breakfast today, start your road journey in the Valley of Elah and right into the ancient land of the Philistines. The first halt is the site of an important biblical event when David won over the champion of Philistine, Goliath. Continue through the region of where the Dan tribe resides and then to the extensive Valley of Ayalon. Here you get to know the story of Samson and Delilah. As you reach Latrun, explore the Monastery of the Trappist Monks. Later on, drive along the Mediterranean shore and make a stop at Jaffa. Here, you enjoy a walk through the ancient port that has been wonderfully restored. This was the site from where pilgrims in medieval times started their two-day trek to Jerusalem.

Tel Aviv – Caesarea – Haifa

Have your breakfast. The 3rd day of the tour starts with a journey to the holy land of Caesarea. This is just the right place to be if one wants to gain knowledge about the presence of the Roman and Crusader in Israel. Explore the magnificent Roman Amphitheater, the remarkable Fortress of Crusader, and harbor and stadium of Herod. After this, start driving to the city with a long history starting from the biblical times, Haifa. Here you visit the world center of Baha’i faith, the BAHA’I SHRINE, with a striking golden-colored dome. Check-in at the hotel in Haifa.

Haifa – Acre – Nazareth – Cana – Kibbutz

Start sightseeing after breakfast. Today, the first visit is to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Acre. It is placed on the northern end of the Bay of Haifa. After Richard the Lionheart conquered this place, he made it the capital of the Crusader kingdom. Admire the daunting Ottoman fortress. Visit the excavations of the underground Crusader city including the vaulted crypt of the Knights of St. John and the hidden passages. From here, drive to Nazareth in Galilee for visiting the modern Church Of The Annunciation. Later, drive to Cana, the site where water was changed into a wine at a wedding function by Jesus. This a sacred place visited by couples for renewing their wedding vows. Next, visit Lake Tiberias. Savor wonderful views here. You can also spot a fisherman’s boat here known to be present from the time of Jesus Christ. The evening is scheduled for a lecture on Kibbutz life. Check-in at a hotel in Kibbutz.

Kibbutz – Mount of Beatitudes – Capernaum -Sea of Galilee – Bet She’an-Jerusalem

After breakfast on day 5, begin driving towards the Sea of Galilee. Here you visit the mighty Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus gave his sermon, on the Mount. Later, visit the site where a fisherman was made a follower by Jesus, Capernaum. Next, enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Galilee that sails via two sites of the miracle of Jesus including the ruins of Kursi. As the cruise arrives at Rive Jordan, visit the Baptismal site.

Later, explore the Roman and Byzantine relics in the ancient Bet She’an city, placed at the foothills of Mount Gilboa. This is also the site where King Saul and his son laid their lives in battle with the Philistines. Now, start your road journey to Jerusalem. On the way, halt for savoring wonderful views of one of the world’s oldest places, which is this holy city. Its history dates back to 4000 BC. As you reach, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel.

Jerusalem – Excursion to Masada – Dead Sea – Jerusalem

Post breakfast, make your way in a car via Judean wilderness towards the lowest point on earth’s surface, the Dead Sea. This road journey with Desert Mountains on one side and salty water on the other, offers panoramic views. Do not miss having a look at the caves of Qumran, the site where the valuable scrolls of the Dead Sea were found.
Next you get into a cable car for ascending to the cliff where Fortress of Masada is positioned. This was the site where 960 Jews had rebelled against the Roman forces. It is lunch time now.
Head towards any good resort near Dead Sea for spending for leisure time. Enjoy a Salt Scrub Gift. Return to Jerusalem.

Jerusalem (Excursion to the Old City)

As you have your breakfast, head towards the sacred mount of Olives to enjoy a stunning city view. Later, start the walking tour of Old Jerusalem. Start the tour walking past the Chapel of Dominus Flevit. This chapel is designed in the shape of a teardrop, representing the tears of Jesus Christ. Reach the Garden Of Gethsemane, where he prayed the night before he was to get arrested. Close to this garden is the Cave of the Assumption of Mary, known to be the tomb of Virgin Mary and then the Cave of Betrayal, where Jesus was betrayed Judas.

Keep walking on an old street called Via Dolorosa with its nine Stations of the Cross. This was the path Jesus took while going for his crucifixion. The next visit is to the Church Of The Holy Sepulchre in Golgotha. This church is made on the very site of crucifixion, and has the remaining five Stations of the Cross. Now, continue your walk past the Temple Mount for watching the Dome of the Rock, revered Jewish as well as Muslim. Later, visit the Western Wall, the only reminder of the Second Temple.

Continue your walking through the restored Jewish Quarter towards Mount Zion. Here you visit Upper Room, the site where Jesus enjoyed the last supper with his disciples. Next, you visit the Tomb OF King David and the House of Caiaphas. The first was the site where Christ was kept the night before he was arrested and the second is that site where Peter denied knowing him three times.

Jerusalem – Excursion to Yad Vashem – The Israel Museum – Bethlehem – Jerusalem

Post breakfast on day 8, first you visit Yad Vashem, the ‘World Holocaust Remembrance Center’. After this head towards the Israel Museum that houses the Shrine of the Book and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Another highlights of the collection here is a scale model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus Christ. Now, start driving towards Bethlehem.
As you reach, visit the Shepherd’s Field, the site where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Thereafter, you visit the Church Of The Nativity, erected on the site where Jesus was born. Start your return journey to Jerusalem. On the way, halt to visit the Garden Tomb. At the hotel, a special farewell dinner has been planned.

After breakfast, get an assisted transfer to the Tel Aviv Airport. Board flight back for the home destination.
